Norway accedes to the Geneva Act (international design registration)

The accession to the Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement was handled by the Council of State on February 12th. Within the summer, applicants will be able to designate Norway in an international design application.

It appears that after 1st January 2008, a significant number of foreign patent applicants have neglected to file a PCT application for national patent protection to the Norwegian Industrial Property Office.
