Otto Scharff is spokesperson for communicating the importance of industrial property rights for trade and industry, and for innovation.

 

Background

Otto Scharff has a Master of Arts in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick and MBA from the Norwegian School of Economics. His professional background includes working with international issues at the Ministry of Trade and Industry and the European Commission. He has also worked as an Advisor at KPMG.

Since 2005 he has been responsible for development and production of NIPO’s information services, marketing, and communication as well as digital services. Otto has worked as Director of the Communication Department up until the end of 2018.

In 2019 he has taken on the role of Director for Digital Services.
