Reply to letter concerning amendments to list of goods and services.

Reply to protest.

1 month from the letter being sent by case officer at the NIPO. Deadline specified in letter.

Reply to letter concerning opposition case.

1 month from the letter being sent by case officer at the NIPO. Deadline specified in letter.

Submit missing power of attorney before the trademark is registered or international registration is put into force in Norway.

1 month from the letter being sent by case officer at the NIPO. Deadline specified in letter.

Received a letter in which the NIPO states that the language requirements outlined in Trademark Regulations Section 6 are not met.

An incoming letter does not change the deadline. Deadline in the last letter received from the NIPO still applies.

Reply to letter in a compensation case 3 months from the date the letter is sent from the case officer at the NIPO.

Reply to letter in a conversion case 3 months from the date the letter is sent from the case officer at the NIPO.

Pay for one or more additional classes.

1 month after the letter is sent by case officer at the NIPO.
Appeal decisions or resolutions.

2 months from the date the letter is sent by case officer at the NIPO. Deadline specified in letter.

Request for administrative review

When the opposition time limit has expired, and after any opposition cases have been decided.

Deadlines in administrative review cases

First deadline for the holder 1 month. Subsequent deadlines for both parties are 14 days.

The deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday

If the deadline falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the deadline is extended to the first following business day. More information about deadlines and time limits in the Regulation on Fees.
