Collective mark and guarantee or certification mark
An association of businesses can give its members exclusive rights to use a trademark, or other symbols for its goods and services.
A collective mark and a guarantee or certification mark is a trademark designed to be used
- by members of an association or organisation, or
- as a guarantee or certification mark for an authority or organisation that carries out control of goods and services.
Example: a stamp on organic products, eco-labels or a mark to be used by members of a sports association.
