  • Mary Desmond

    Mary Desmond joined the EUIPO in 2000 where she undertook tasks in opposition proceedings.  Since 2013 has been a design examiner and also works as an AG examiner in English and Italian. She is part of the DesignCLASS working group. 

    Prior to working in the EUIPO she worked for several years as an architect in London and Spain.

  • Claudia Attinà

    Claudia Attinà is an Italian lawyer who has worked in the EUIPO since 2009, both as a legal assistant at the Boards of Appeal and as a decision taker in the Business Operation Department, where she currently works on opposition and cancellation cases.

  • Carolina Pitarch

    Carolina Pitarch became a part of the EUIPO nine years ago, spending the majority of her time in the International Cooperation Area. Since 2023, she has been actively involved with the Communities and Consistent Practices Service in the European Cooperation Area. After contributing to the Common Practice number 15, a project on the classification of goods and services, Carolina is now managing Common Practice number 17, which addresses the distinctive character of slogans.
