Appeal Options - Plant Variety Board

Complaints concerning decisions about plant breeder's rights should be sent to the Plant Variety Board. Complaints are handled by the Norwegian Board of Appeal for Industrial Property Rights.

If a decision by the Plant Variety Board has gone against you, you may send in an appeal on the following cases:

  • Refusal of application (Section 12)
  • Right granted despite opposition (Section 12)
  • Decision concerning request for transfer of application (Section 12)
