In this event we focus on AI as a useful innovation tool and the laws regulating it. Together with speakers from EY and the Norwegian Industrial Property Office (NIPO) the presentations and discussions will look at the interplay between AI, innovation and Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).

Line Marjatta Nicolayssen is a Senior Patent Examiner at NIPO in the technical field of software. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Computer science from the University of Oslo, and has more than 19 years of experience in in the field of Intellectual Property. Line has previously worked for an IP-firm, assisting clients with technical, legal and strategic advice in connection with deployment of new technologies.
Andreas Bjørnebye is an associate partner at EY Law firm. He has worked over 15 years as an attorney and legal advisor for tech corporations in many fields, such as IPR and R&D. His experience comes from a wide range of private and public entities, both in Norway and abroad. Andreas is a speaker at various forums, with topics ranging from corporate governance, privacy law, IPR and M&A to new technology like AI and others.
