A dialogue search is a targeted search for patent publications that describe an invention or idea. The search is conducted interactively in an online meeting or by participants working together in front of the same screen. Along the way, the search can be adjusted to find new relevant patent publications and technologies.

Dialogue search provides a quick overview of published patents within a specific technology area. You will see the results directly in the meeting, and you can customize the search to find more relevant publications. If the technology area is large or complex, the search can be divided into several sessions. You agree on the scope and details with us when ordering. You can also refine or expand the search along the way.

• You order the dialogue search
  Send us a description of the technology to be searched for, including the following information: Title of invention, name of inventor, keywords that describe the invention, and a short description. The keywords should reflect function, use, or technical solution. Feel free to include a drawing of the invention. Also describe what is special about your invention, what it can be used for, and whether there are competitors with similar inventions.
  
• We follow up
  After booking, we will contact you with a suggested meeting time. We will assess whether the description is suitable for dialogue search and suggest any adjustments.
  
• Implementation
  The dialogue search is conducted as an online meeting or a physical meeting at our premises in Oslo. Several people can participate, for example, you can bring a patent attorney. The results are assessed directly in the meeting.
  
• Summary
  After the meeting, we will send you an overview of the most relevant patent publications.
  
• Invoicing
  We will send you an invoice for the assignment after it has been completed.

A dialogue search lasts two hours. If necessary, it is possible to arrange a follow-up dialogue search. We invoice a fixed price of NOK 2600 for this service. The dialogue search can be conducted as an online meeting or a physical meeting at our premises in Oslo.
